Restaurant owners in the village of Cholok, Chui region, are requesting the reopening of the U-turn at 124 km of the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart highway. According to the business owners, it is currently not the peak season. Restaurant owners and lessees believe that with the closure, people traveling from Issyk-Kul region no longer stop at their establishments.
