Louth County Council has announced that Age Friendly Business Workshops will take place on Wednesday the 24th April in Dundalk and Drogheda. There are three quarters of a million older people (65+), living and shopping in Ireland and it is anticipated this figure will grow to 1.5 million by 2051. Older people account for up to 50% of all consumer spending in the EU. They have the time to shop, they like to shop and they are loyal customers.
