Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Society of First Nations, and Keepers of the Water held a news conference on Wednesday, April 24, to highligh the disproportionate impacts of plastics pollution on front-line Indigenous communities. The First Nation blames the pollution on the operations of INEOS Styrolution, which produces chemicals used in plastic and rubber products. It has announced it's closing temporarily for maintenance.
