There has been a 'substantial" increase in Indian students going to Ireland, according to counsel general Anita Kelly. From 800 Indian students a year in 2013, the number had gone up ten times to touch 7,000 in 2022. But most universities had seen a larger rise in student application and acceptance this year, she added.
