IGP Kayode Egbetokun was one of the most significant naysayers and objectors of state police. AIG Okolo has since tried to walk back the objection to state police by stating that the position was simply his personal opinion. I have nothing personal against the IGP who has over the decades proven his mettle as a security professional.
