Four university of Montana students were awarded one of the nation's most prestigious STEM fellowships. The five-year fellowship gives each student three years of financial support, an annual stipend of $37,000 and a cost-of-education allowance of $12,000. About 12,000 students apply for the fellowship and only 2,000 are selected.
