The Cayuga Council of Chiefs has denounced his recent actions against the Union Springs Central School District and the Finger Lakes Drive-In. The Halftown council said the district was drawing more than $100,000 of gas a year without paying the nation, which acquired the well property in 2004. In a news release Wednesday, the Council said the decision was an "attack on the children and citizens of Union Springs.
