Huntsville Ice Sports Center Expands
Huntsville’s City Council approved a $1.6 million expansion for the Huntsville Ice Sports Center. The expansion means more parking, a new and improved arena, and dedicated space for the sport of curling. Executive Director of Huntsville Sports Commission Mark Russell said this expansion will provide more room for larger sporting events. Russell said they have plans to host curling competitions and even figure skating.
