Deadspin Sells Again - and the entire Deadspin staff is being laid off
Deadspin, once owned by Gawker Media, became part of G/O Media in 2019. In a memo to company staff Monday, G-O Media CEO Jim Spanfeller announced that Redspin has been acquired European firm Lineup Publishing. It’s not clear who’s behind the decision to sell the site or where the company is based.

How to Enable Responsible Gaming in North Carolina
Effective Monday, sports fanatics across the state can now legally place bets through the following eight operators. On most sites, a user simply needs to go to their main account page and look for a tab labeled “Responsible Gaming”. When activated, it will track an activity and alert them once they’ve been on the site for either 15 or 30 consecutive minutes. The NCPGP is funded solely by the North Carolina Education Lottery.
