Mobile Sports Betting Launched in North Carolina
North Carolina became the latest state to allow players to make bets on their favorite teams and sporting events on March 11. The North Carolina State Lottery Commission announced eight legal operators including DraftKings, FanDuel and ESPN Bet. After the first week, Gambling Compliance & Sports Betting Deputy Executive Director Sterl Carpenter said mobile sports betting launched with success.
