Provincial Senior Men's Curling Championships in Winnipeg
Randy Neufeld, Dean Moxham, Peter Nicholls and Dale Michie are Provincial Senior Men's curling champions for a record fifth time. The La Salle foursome defeated Dave Boehmer 7-2 in six ends Monday afternoon at the Heather Curling Club in Winnipeg. They won the Canadian title and the World silver medal in 2015.

In a career spanning nearly half a century, Ian Heads covered a myriad of sports - but his favourite was rugby league. He began his journalistic career as a copy boy at The Daily Telegraph in the early 1960s before becoming editor of Rugby League Week magazine for many years. Inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside the game's greatest players midway through last year.

Australia's World Cup Qualify
