NASA's Hubble Asteroid Hunter Could Lead to More Asteroids
NASA said volunteers combed through 37,000 images taken by the Hubble Telescope over a span of 19 years to try and spot space rocks soaring through the solar system. According to NASA, the searchers found 1,701 asteroid trails, with 1,031 of those asteroids being previously uncatalogued.

Ben King is the principal investigator on a $2 million grant from the National Science Foundation’s Quantum Sensing Challenges for Transformational Advances in Quantum Systems. CyVerse - The New National Synthesis Center for Molecular and Cellular Sciences
NSF funding will support the creation of the National Synthesis Center for Emergence in the Molecular and Cellular Sciences, or NCEMS. The center will enable research that uses existing, publicly available data to glean new insights about how complex biological systems emerge from simpler molecules. Findings from the research could eventually inform the development of disease treatments and other applications, such as minimizing the negative effects of aging.
