Connecticut Children’s Mental Health Services - IICAPS to Close in Hartford and New Britain
In December 2022, the Child and Family Agency of Southeast Connecticut had to close its IICAPS program because of budget shortfalls. As of March, they were running a deficit of $160,000, and she expects that deficit to grow before the program closes in Hartford and New Britain at the end of June.

We searched the name “Aman Labscorp” online and found almost a dozen complaints identical to Danielides’’ about the company, all referencing “fraudulent charges” for tests people say they “never had done” The company’s president told NBC Chicago that the costs will eventually fall onto the consumer.

Delaware Drug Overdose Crisis
Between April 26 and 30, 2024, troopers recorded a significant increase in suspected drug overdoses. Many affected individuals exhibited symptoms resistant to Naloxone, with some requiring intubation, and experiencing uncontrollable convulsions despite administering anti-seizure medication. Preliminary investigations reveal that the substances involved were packaged in small, white wax paper bags typically associated with heroin.
