Anti-Polio Vaccination Campaign in Peshawar
Provincial Health Minister Syed Qasim Ali Shah inaugurated the anti-polio vaccination campaign on Friday. Over 4.423 million children will be vaccinated in the campaign. The first phase runs from April 29 to May 3, covering 14 complete districts.

World Malaria Day
World Health Organisation (WHO) says the vaccine rollout seeks to further scale up vaccine deployment in the African region. According to it, Benin, which received 215,900 doses, has added the malaria vaccine to its Expanded Programme on Immunisation. At least 45,000 children are expected to benefit from the 112,000 doses of the available vaccine.
