The US National Institutes of Health acknowledges that some psychedelics are promising new therapies for patients with mental health challenges because they promote plasticity in the brain. For example, the activation of 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) 2A receptors (5-HT2ARs) is essential for Psychedelic-induced cortical plasticity. Ongoing work in this field includes mapping how changes in consciousness are linked to cortex-wide fluctuations in receptor density to identify patterns related to specific drug experiences

OPSEU Local 631 reaches tentative agreement to end lockout in Timmins

Genetically Modified Plants - A Review

The Distaff Gospels
The Distaff Gospels, first published in France around 1480, is a collection of “gospels” around pregnancy, childbirth and health. It was created during secretive meetings of French women who had gathered with their drop spindles and distaffs to spin flax. These women agreed to meet over the long nights between Christmas and early February to gather the wisdom of their ancestors.
