MU Health Care to Open New Urgent Care in Jefferson City
Columbia-based MU Health Care will open a new and larger urgent care in west Jefferson City in late May. The new location will be in the 3500 block of West Truman Boulevard, near the Fairfield Inn and Suites. It will be open seven days a week from 7:30 am until 7 pm to serve patients on a walk-in basis.

St. Anthony's Triathlon - A Family Affair
The 41st annual St. Anthony’s Triathlon brought thousands of athletes from around the world to downtown St. Pete on Sunday morning. They made a splash in the cool waters of Northshore Beach before hitting the pavement for an Olympic or sprint-distance bike race and run. The Triathlon was voted the second-best triathlon in the United States in a USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Award contest earlier this year.

Health Impacts of Passing Coal Trains
The study focuses on the San Francisco Bay Area and is the first health impact assessment of coal train pollution in the world. At least 80 countries use coal power, which generates 40% of the world’s electricity. The study includes parts of Oakland, Berkeley, Martinez and Richmond, where coal is already being transported by rail.
