Women's Health Research - President Joe Biden's Executive Order Expands Research on Women's Health
Joe Biden will release an executive order extending US government research on women’s health, with $200 million set aside for next year to better study topics such as sexual and reproductive disorders. According to an administration memo summarising the directive, Biden has also directed his administration to report on progress towards eliminating gender inequalities in research. The $200 million investment that was disclosed on Monday will occur during the fiscal year 2025.

Health Minister Hsueh Jui-yuan apologized and announced plans to improve Taiwan's adoption system. In a five-page written report submitted to the committee, the Ministry of Health and Welfare reviewed factors that may have contributed to the incident.
