Philippine College of Physicians president Rontgene Solante said free vaccines for the elderly must not be limited to influenza or pneumonia shots. Under Republic Act No. 9994 or Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010, the Department of Health (DOH) is mandated to administer free vaccination against the influenza virus and pneumococcal disease for indigent seniors.

They found that insomnia sleepers were associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and depression over a 10-year period.
