Live From Waco Weekend Festival
The City of Waco has allocated a total of $422,500 for entertainment acts to perform as part of a weekend festival preceding the April 8 eclipse. The “Live from Waco” weekend festival will take place from Friday, April 5, through Sunday, April 7. In order to secure the talent for the concerts, the City needed to enter into contracts to proceed with confirming artists, scheduling announcements and issuing deposits at costs outlined in paperwork.
