The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested two suspects for a burglary that occurred at a business on Front Street on April 19. The case was assigned to detectives in the Criminal Investigation Division who, with the help of the public, were able to identify suspects. They are both charged with unauthorized entry of a place of business and principal to simple burglary.

Defra’s Farming Resilience Fund
The latest tweak is a cap on six Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) actions to 25% of an applicant’s land – with farming minister Sir Mark Spencer explaining that the limit is being introduced so food production remains the primary purpose of farming. There is public and private funding available to help implement the changes that are expected on farms. Some 17 providers are being funded by this Defra initiative.

Firms suggested that as inflationary pressures ease, they expect profits to increase by 5.9% in the year ahead.

It indicates there were issues known to the Post Office with third-party systems within branches - separate to Horizon software. Mr Marshall asserts that postmasters who have had appeals against convictions rejected by the Court of Appeal may have lost because their offences didn't fall within the 'narrow scope' of Horizon issues.
