KPET - Don’t Lose Faith
KPET went silent in July, after its owner and operator unexpectedly died. Now, Fred Morton is asking for help to get the station back on the airwaves. “Don’t lose faith. We’ll be there this summer, if not earlier. As soon as I can make it happen,” Morton said. For the last 15 he was a business partner with David Stewart.

The City of Hearne is Preserving Historic Landmarks and Bringing New Businesses to Downtown
The City of Hearne has decades of history and with their new preservation projects, they are trying to bring the past to the present in hopes of attracting more people to the city. More recently, the city has decided to preserve its historic water tower and restore it to its original state with lights and decorations. City manager Alonzo Echavarria says this is just the beginning of a city-wide makeover.

Rhode Island Business Owners Feel Helpless As They Work Day and Night
For more than three months, people who live and work near the Washington Bridge have been dealing with increased traffic caused by the closure of its westbound side. It’s a reality they’ll have to live with for at least another two years, after officials announced Thursday that the structure must be torn down and replaced.
