Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt says cockfighting is a misdemeanor in several states. The Oklahoma Gamefowl Commission said it’s about protecting breeders’ rights. In recent years, several bills have been introduced in the state. Oklahoma’s game fowl commission said it's illegal to sell or transport animals for fighting.

Goldman's Commodities - What's Next?
Ed Emerson, the head of commodities, left in December and is probably now hanging out in either Palm Beach, Tribeca or the Bahamas. Both Emerson and Currie had a good run, with Goldman commodities bonuses allegedly reaching $30m in good years during their tenure. Goldman's commodities gains in 2023 were their lowest since 2019.

Chips Act Funding for Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing
The package will support more than $100bn (€92.08bn) in US investments from Intel. The money will help pay for equipment, research and development and advanced packaging projects at smaller facilities in Oregon and New Mexico. Intel has had a presence in Ireland for the past 30 years and operates a major chip-making facility in Co Kildare.
